Hainan EcoPrime 300,000 Tons/Year Bioenergy Project Grandly Sets Sail, Powering a Green New Future!
On the morning of September 15, 2025, the inauguration ceremony for the Hainan EcoPrime 300,000 tons/year bioenergy project was grandly held in the Petrochemical Functional Zone of the Yangpu Economic Development Zone. Government leaders, senior corporate executives, and employee representatives gathered at the scene to witness this important milestone in the green energy sector.
Located southeast of Yisheng Petrochemical in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou City, the project covers an area of 150 mu with a total investment of approximately 1.2 billion RMB. It is expected to achieve intermediate handover by June 2026. The project will construct main units for bio-jet fuel and biodiesel, along with supporting storage, transportation facilities, and utility systems. The main products include biodiesel, bio-jet fuel, and bio-naphtha. Upon operation, it will significantly enrich Hainan's green energy supply structure.
As the comprehensive island-wide customs operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port approaches, green, low-carbon, and sustainable development has become a core issue for regional progress. The official launch of the Hainan EcoPrime project not only injects new momentum into Hainan's high-quality development but also actively responds to the national "Dual Carbon" strategy with concrete actions, composing a new chapter in green energy.
The ceremony commenced with check-in and greetings at 10:00 AM, with the official program starting at 10:45 AM. Leaders from EcoPrime (Chongqing) Holding Co., Ltd., China Wuhuan Engineering Co.,Ltd and China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., among others, delivered speeches successively. All parties congratulated the smooth launch of the project, expressed gratitude for the support from government departments and team collaboration, and unanimously conveyed their confidence and determination to advance the project construction with high standards and quality.
At 11:08 AM, witnessed by the guests present, multiple leaders jointly triggered the startup sphere, declaring the full commencement of the project.
